INSTRUCTIONS

Notes:
• Two colors are worked in each rnd.
• When changing colors, hold color not in use at WS of work.
• Motif is worked back and forth, then joined to form rnds.
• Ch 3 at beg of rnds counts as dc throughout.

Motif (make 16) (See diagram on page 2).
With A, ch 3. Join with sl st to first ch to form a ring.
1st rnd: (RS). Ch 3. (2 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in ring. Ch 1. Drop A. With B, ch 1. (3 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in ring. Ch 1. Join with hdc to top of beg ch-3. Turn.
2nd rnd: (WS). With B, ch 3. 2 dc in sp created by ch-1 and hdc at end of last rnd (beg sp). Ch 1. (3 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Ch 1. 3 dc in next ch-2 sp. Ch 1. Drop B. With A, ch 1. 3 dc in same ch-2 sp. Ch 1. (3 dc. Ch 2. 3 dc) in next ch-2 sp. Ch 1. 3 dc in beg sp. Ch 1. Join with hdc to top of beg ch-3. Turn.

Rep last rnd 5 times more. 10 rnds total.
Fasten off.

FINISHING
Join Motifs tog as shown in assembly Diagram
Border: Join A with sl st to any corner ch-3 sp of Blanket. Ch 3. 1 dc in each dc and ch-1 or ch-2 sp around, working 5 dc in each corner of Blanket. Join with sl st to top of ch 3. Fasten off.
