Hat: 1st row: (WS). With MC and larger hook, ch 1. 1 sc in each of next 40 (45) sts. 2 sc in next st. 1 sc in each st to end of row. Turn. 81 (91) sc.
2nd row: Ch 1. 1 sc in first st. Draw up a loop in same st as last st. Draw up a loop in each of next 2 sts. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – cluster made. *Ch 1. Cluster. Rep from * to end of row. 1 sc in same sp as last st. Turn.

With RS tog, fold Hat in half widthwise. Join MC with sl st to top at folded edge. Ch 1. Working through all thicknesses, 1 sc in each st to fold line. Fasten off.
