GAUGE

7 dc and 4 rows = 4" [10 cm].

INSTRUCTIONS

Notes: When joining colors, work to last 2 loops on hook of first color. Draw new color through last 2 loops and proceed.
Ch 3 at beg of row counts as dc throughout.
Stripe Pat
With MC, work 1 row.
With A, work 1 row.
These 2 rows form Stripe Pat.
With MC, ch 64. 1st row: (WS). 1 dc in 4th ch from hook (counts as 2 dc). 1 dc in each ch to end of chain. Join A. Turn. 62 dc.
2nd row: With A, ch 3. 1 dc in next dc. *Miss next 2 dc. 1 tr in next dc. Working behind tr just made, 1 dc in each of missed 2 dc. Miss next st (where tr is worked). 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. Working in front of dc just made, 1 tr in same sp as last tr made. Rep from * 10 times more. Miss next 2 dc. 1 tr in next dc. Working behind tr just made, 1 dc in each of missed 2 dc. Miss next st (where tr is worked). 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. Join MC. Turn.
3rd row: With MC, ch 3. 1 dc in each of next 3 dc. (Yoh and draw up a loop in next st. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook - dc2tog made (1 dc in each of next 4 dc. Dc2tog) 10 times. 1 dc in each of next 6 sts. Join A. Turn. 62 sts.
