I am a very new crocheter and started the  baby blanket (http://com.yarnspirations.pattern-pdfs.s3.amazonaws.com/Bernat_BabyCoordinates003_cr_blanket.en_US.pdf)

the diagram  shows row 3 with 6 dc and then 2 block of ch1 dc 1. Can someone help me ? Row 2 sequence includes missing a stitch along with the ch1 and maybe that's what is throwing me off.

I am having trouble working the Mod Baby Blanket. I just cannot understand the "stitch Combos". It keeps saying in the first horizontal bar of stitch just made..what is the horizontal bar? Can someone describe this to me so I can make sense of it? Thanking you in advance-Myra

Is it me?

i am attempting to crochet the "easy Crochet Bag" on p 22 of the "I taught myself crochet" book.  I have changed hook sizes, am using Caron Simply Soft yarn, have retread directions and bag is still much, much larger than gauge.  With yarn doubled, I can't imagine going to a smaller hook, which would be an F hook.  I crochet pretty tightly, so am a bit flummoxed.  Help!!  By the time I get to row 16, the item will measure 8" not 4".

I am knitting the top down baby cardigan using softee baby yarn. I don't understand how to divide for front, bandk and sleeves: I get how to knit for the right front,  but the directions then say to slip stitches onto a length of yarn for the sleeves. Don't you use stitch holders? I really hope to finish the sweater by Christmas but I am stuck.

Hi Brenda,

You can use a stitch holder if you prefer.  If you need further help with this project, be sure to contact Customer Support.  They have tested every pattern, and are very helpful.  You can reach them by sending an email to inquire@yarnspirations.com.  Happy Knitting!
