Alternate Title: What do you do when it is a weekend, you really want to work on a project and you’re stuck on a pattern direction?

If you’re me – you guess about what to do next because you certainly wouldn’t want to give your current project a rest and pick up one of your other works in progress.

So, you continue to knit until your project starts looking like this and you hope that you are right.

At some point, however, you realize that whether or not you were right about your first decision, you were definitely wrong about something else and you skipped a row somewhere, because now your cowl looks like this:

So, you rip it back.  And then it sits next to your bed for a few days and you wait for some free time to get back to the project you were once enjoying and that you are hoping is going to grow up to look like a cowl.

It looks gorgeous. I'm sure if you leave it out where you see it all the time you will be picking it back up in no time. Can't wait to see it finished. It may go on my Christmas knitting list.

Thanks Eva! I'm happy to report that the cowl is back on track :) I had to rip the whole thing out to get back on track but I still love it!
