I Think I Might be in Love….

We need to talk about Bernat’s new Mosaic yarn.  I was so excited to start knitting with this yarn.  I liked the pictures on Bernat’s website, but now that I’m working with the yarn, those pictures don’t do it justice.

Look at these colors:

I think I may be in love – though my pictures don’t do the colors justice either.

I’m using the Mosaic yarn to knit my very first ever cowl.  I happen to really (really!) love my scarves in the winter, so, I’ve resisted making cowls in the past.  I’m not sure if I’ll be keeping this one or gifting it come the holiday season but I do know that I am looking forward to knitting it.

I love how the stitch pattern is developing in the early rows.  I’m going to have to think long and hard about who gets this gift J

I can hardly wait to use it. When I first started knitting I loved ombre yarns. You never knew just how the piece would come out. Now, compared to the new yarn tchnology, well let's just say it's not your mother's ombre anymore! I used up some older yarn to make a charity hat...it looked blah, even though the colorway was pleasing.

That yarn looks great...I have been to several stores to buy it and no one has it..I want to make the afghan in the free pattern section to donate to a benefit dance for a young woman who has a rare type of brain cancer and has to travel outside canada to have treatment....where did u buy yours?

You can buy Bernat Mosaic at our new online shop: shop.bernat.com

Thank u...found it at Zeller's but between 5 stores I found 4 balls, now I am waiting for their order to come in so I can get more....I need 13 balls for the afghan pattern....I prefer to buy at store so I can see actual color and it is cheaper cause I don't have to pay S&H fees
