Procrastination?  Is me or did it seem like forever to get my cardigan finished?  The actual knitting part I thoroughly enjoyed and zoomed through it (a record for me!).  But the finishing?  Well, let's just say it took me a long, long time.  I don't know why I dragged my feet, but it's happened before on other projects.  The ends are left unwoven, the buttons unattached and the seams unsewn. **sigh**

Worst of all, I started and finished a few other projects in the interim: mittens (from a neat little Bernat booklet of winter gear I got for a dollar), a couple of hats (and yes, these came from the same booklet from which the cardi came) and even a couple of crochet items for the kitchen (check out Bernat's free crochet patterns).  Sure they were all small items, but eventually the call of the cardi beckoned--and I finally answered.

So without further ado, here's my finished cardigan:

What do you think about the buttons?  It was hard to find something that matched closely enough to the rich colours of the regal twist:

And here's the requisite pics of me striking a few poses (so hard to take myself seriously in a self-portrait, but I always appreciate the finished item modelled on a real person):

Now I can focus on my next project which requires lots and lots of little granny squares like the one pictured below.

Wow Dina! It looks AMAZING! And I love the matching hat. YOU GO GIRL!

**blushes** Thanks Sandy :D I like the matching hat too.

You did a great job, I also procrastinate. Dont we all?!

Thanks Deborah. I guess we all procrastinate sometimes, LOL

Very nice work! And I think the buttons look great with the colors.

Thanks Teresa. I wasn't sure about the buttons at first, but they do work and I love that they're so big.

I love it!!!! I bought the pattern 2 weeks ago, and can't wait to start.

Janet you'll love it! Great pattern. I've received so many compliments on it already. :)

gorgeous! I am planning on knitting this on in Tangerine Twists or Carnival. I do a lot of volunteer work for the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, often times being stationed near doors. In Alberta we have some very cold temps, so I need something warm in pink. Cora

Thanks Cora! Sometimes its so hard to pick a colour but both of your choices are so cheerful. And the cardi will keep you warm (it can be cold in the Maritimes, but not as cold as out west, LOL).

Your welcome...it gives me incentive top get going on mine :) A question is there a lot of room in the sweater? I am not sure if I should go with the medium or the large. If I go by the actual bust measurement, I would need the large, but I am concerned with the actual size...hmmm. Cora
