A few weeks ago, I mentioned Bernat's new yarns. This week, I decided to try them out with hooks and needles, and see how they roll....
My favorite is Bernat Bargello. SO easy to work with while knitting or crocheting, and surprisingly soft to the touch! I think that beginners would love working with this as well, because it's so easy to use. Here's my video, showing the yarn in action.
My next fave is Bernat Li'l Tots, which is designed for making baby and toddler items. This yarn makes me smile! I can't put my finger on it, but knitting and crocheting with that yarn just gives me bubbles of joy. :) The tiny boucle strand is just adorable, and the squishy soft roving core feels heavenly. Really fun to work with - I want to make a blanket with it! Here's the video.
Another new baby yarn is Bernat Dippity Dots, which is the fanciest baby yarn I've ever seen by Bernat. Reminds me of the baby fibers you find in a fancy yarn shop! I really love the tiny pom poms that are evenly placed on the yarn - such fun "cupcake" colors. Watch it in action here.
My last yarn review is for Bernat Fleurettes, a fun novelty yarn, with a very soft touch, and happy looped sections. This yarn takes some patience when working with it, but it has such a fresh look! Here's my attempt at knitting and crocheting with Fleurettes.
I haven't tried working with Bernat Cotton-ish yet, but will give it a go next time. And I don't have any of the new Tiny Tickles or the thicker Soft Boucle either, so I can't try those yet. Stay tuned!
